Karishma Rajan Menon (She/Her)

Clinical Psychologist and Board-approved Supervisor

A Clinical Psychologist, trained in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, and trauma-informed Schema Therapy. She strongly believes that one size does NOT fit all and is therefore flexible to tailor to individual needs. She has particular interests in complex trauma and attachment, and is currently pursuing her PhD from The University of Sydney.

She works with concerns related to anxiety, depression, panic, grief and loss, and complex trauma.

She has experience working with a diverse range of issues across settings, including in-patient hospitals, facilitating group work for young people with anxiety and trauma at headspace, addiction and mood-related issues, behaviour management programs for children (2-10 years) and working with the neurodiverse population, with extensive training in cognitive assessments. She is knowledgeable about gender diversity, is LGBTQIA+ friendly and can also support with WPATH assessments and surgical readiness letters.

Availability:

Karishma currently offers video/phone appointments Australia-wide during the week and is available for in-person sessions on Saturday at Ultimo, Sydney.

She is a Board-approved Supervisor and can provide supervision that is reflective and culturally-informed for provisional psychologists, clinical psychology registrars, early career psychologists, counsellors, and/or therapists.
